Message to Forum SPAMMERS

Forum spammers typically want one or more of the following advantages:

  • Get forum visitors to click on their links
  • Get backlinks to their sites (or client sites)
  • Get exposure for long enough to be indexed
  • Get indexed by Google and other search engines

YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME HERE!

Here's why...

  • Moderators are instantly notified of all new posts by email. We all work online, so we can check promptly.
  • We remove spam (and ban spammers) promptly.
  • The typical spam post gets only 1-2 views — usually the spammer and a moderator or admin.
  • Spam posts don't last long enough to be indexed by search engine spiders.
  • Spam posts don't last long enough to be viewed by members or guests.
  • Spammers and spambots don't last long enough to post for more than one short session. They're posts are deleted and their usernames, IP addresses and email addresses (if they use one) are banned, permanently.
  • Spambots typically register a day or two before a spam posting session. We now check the members list several times a day for pre-emptive strikes against obvious spambot usernames (scripts and their idiot users are not noted for their creativity). Don't even think about choosing a username that resembles a typical spambot concoction, or risk being booted and banned even before you have a chance to post.

Here's a sampling of spam usernames removed and banned in a single session: these bottom-feeders never got a chance to post:

    eGlycleaRcardyz
    Terfalebre
    bofuniorb
    atmonsnut
    Siftabittehar
    Vfqwimaojezgr
    Adminigen
    extextlox
    availussy
    Jaillatheasty
    Envinebuine
    VemFlieme
    Idettebub
    trobreZeKPac
    glocomemype
    Zxnvmblkmlptg

Yes, I know most forum spammers post using automated software scripts (spambots), so they won't see this warning. But it's worth posting in case anyone visiting these forums start thinking about spamming them.

Try it — the only result you'll get is being deleted and banned... the forum equivalent of the "bum's rush".

Oh… and you'll also be reported to http://www.stopforumspam.com as a spammer, where your username, IP address, email address, etc will be listed in their database and checked automatically and blocked by thousands of forums.
