Thanks for the info. I have been looking for a good alternative to keyword planner.

Hmm... I tried the keywordtool.io and 1 more keywords tool (sorry I forgot its name) and turns out they work quite well for the time being. Probably its due to my lack of knowledge in searching for keywords with google but in my current experience, keywordtool.io gives more related keywords than google, there will be some 'mutual words' (i can't find a better word for this) with google but not that much.
The one thing about keywordtool.io is that it shows tons of keywords which are... not even searched or extremely low search rate. But in any cases, it is not hard to delete the unused keywords so I dun have much problem with it.

Moderator Comment:
I think the word you're looking for is "common" — or the phrase "in common".
:D

Caroline, this discussion is about keyWORD tools (for SEO), not keyBOARD tools.

Great! Thanks for posting - I've usually always used the Google keyword planner, but have been wanting to branch out (I dont like only using one service too much and read a few articles detailing the flaws in the GKP) so this is a great find.

I personally use good old google to search for the volume of the keywords, because in my experience most of the keyword tools out there are crap, honestly!
