How long since you checked to compare them? Chrome has features these days that Firefox doesn't, including the one I prize most of all… SPEED!

Loading and navigating with Firefox is still like swimming through wet concrete.

Have you tried re-installing it?

I actually find Chrome very useful. I never had a problem since I started using it. Firefox is good by I prefer Chrome now, there are also a few SEO apps that I use on it and so far it's been very helpful.

The latest browser use statistics show Chrome way out in front of all others, including Firefox.

The WC3 Schools research over 10 years gives a fascinating insight into how browser usage has changed during that time.

In a nutshell, Chrome now accounts for more than HALF of all browser use. Firefox has declined to just over 25% and IE is half of that. Safari is steady at 4% and the others take up the remaining margin.

I too use Google Chrome. Chrome's browser window is streamlined, clean and simple.

Well i dont know about search engine optimisation i see that chrome are advertising many new apps within their browser whenever i go into developer mode , so they are obviously making a shift in some sort of direction for developers in which they feel they are lacking , the same way Microsoft internet explorer tried to push edge on us.

From a developer point of view i find the hardest browers i.e the ones that give me the most issues with compatibility and coding are the one's you want to test on , because the general case is if it works on a crappy incompatible browser it will work on the more "friendly browsers".

I agree however best consensus is as profit said : have multiples . As the saying goes never put all your eggs in one basket.

I've found that Firefox has been working better at stopping popups, but Chrome has been lacking in that area lately.
