hi

I have just started my own business for the first time and am struggling with marketing information, application forms and flyers etc:
I am thinking of copying some of the content from a large competitior am I able to do this?

please advise

Ronnie, it will depend very much on the nature and amount of content you copy.

As a general guide, though, it's not a good idea.

Not only does it open you up to risk of lawsuits, takedown demands (which will cause many web hosts to simply disable your site so that they don't have to defend potentially expensive litigation, etc — check their Terms of Service) and plagiarism accusations, but it doesn't differentiate you from your competitor in your target market.

I agree with John, copying what other people do is really bad for business. It can potentially kill your business even before it starts .
Maybe you can let me know what kind of info you are looking for and i might hook you up with some of my free training on leads generation, attraction marketing and so on.
